(NewsNation) — Chipotle is giving away free burritos for fans watching the NBA Finals, running a “Free Throws, Free Codes” promotion starting with the first game of the series.

The chain will give away up to 17,500 free entrees per game to hungry basketball fans. During live broadcasts of the games, Chipotle will publish a tweet with a specific keyword during ‘perfect’ free throws.

Followers will have to text the keyword to the number 888222, and the first 500 will be given a credit valid for a free entree.

What qualifies as a “perfect free throw”? Whenever a player makes all the free throws they are awarded at a given time, Chipotle will count it as a “perfect free throw.”

Chipotle offered some examples, including a player being fouled on a two-point shot and making both free throws or when a player has an “and one” opportunity and makes that one free throw.

Fans will only be able to claim one credit per phone number per game, and the credits expire after July 6, 2024.
