Damita Menezes is a Digital Content Producer for NewsNation.
Menezes was born and raised in Dubai, UAE, where she grew up as an Indian expat. Prior to joining the team in 2023, she was an Investigative/Specials unit intern at CNBC. Before that, she was producing and managing podcasts for Roe Conn (WGN) & Richard Roeper (The Chicago Sun-Times), and, Dick Butkus (former linebacker for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League). She was also an Investigative Intern at ABC 7 Chicago.
Menezes graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School with a Master of Science in Journalism. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from DePaul University.
