David E. Montgomery, MD, Ph.D. is board-certified in cardiology and internal medicine and began serving as a medical contributor for NewsNation in March of 2023.
With a clinical focus on preventing heart and vascular disease, he is also a managing partner at Atlanta-based PREventClinic, Inc. which provides quality cardiac and preventive healthcare for Americans. Dr. Montgomery has also served as medical intensive care staff at Chicago area hospitals.
He received his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois and also holds a Ph.D. in physiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Medicine. A member of the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Montgomery’s work has been published in a range of medical and scientific journals.
