Kellie Meyer is a Washington Correspondent in NewsNation’s Washington D.C. Bureau.
Kellie joins NewsNation from Nexstar’s Washington D.C. Bureau where she covered Congress and the White House with a focus on the southeast for nearly 200 local stations in 116 markets.
Prior to Nexstar, Kellie spent 14 months reporting on the aftermath of Hurricanes Irma and Maria in the US Virgin Islands for the CBS affiliate in the US territory.
Before leaving for the islands, Kellie worked with the Gray Television and Lilly Broadcasting Washington D.C. Bureau covering the 2016 election.
Kellie started her career in Elmira, New York at WENY the CBS and ABC affiliate, reporting and anchoring the morning show.
Kellie has a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University.
