Sydney Kalich is the senior producer for national at NewsNation, where she manages audience engagement, affiliate content and newsletters. She started at NewsNation as a digital content producer in Aug. 2020 and previously was a senior digital producer.
Prior to that, she worked as a special projects, video and digital producer at NBCLA where she covered Kobe Bryant’s helicopter crash, wildfire season and celebrity news. She also wrote and produced original multimedia content focused on digital storytelling and YouTube.
She has also worked as a multimedia journalist and digital producer at KOMU-8 News, wrote for Index on Censorship in London and was a state government reporter for the Columbia Missourian. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, she graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism with a degree in broadcast reporting.
