Thomas Burr is the executive producer of the DC Bureau of NewsNation. He is the former Washington bureau chief of The Salt Lake Tribune and a past president of the National Press Club.
A Utah native and Washingtonian since 2005, Burr formerly led the Congressional Standing Committee of Correspondents and the Regional Reporters Association.
He is the secretary of the Gridiron Club & Foundation and a member of the White House Correspondents’ Association and co-author of the 2015 book, “Mormon Rivals: The Romneys, the Huntsmans and the Pursuit of Power.” He holds degrees from Snow College and Southern Utah University, and has been honored a record four times by the Press Club as the top regional reporter of the year.
