(NewsNation) — It’s been 15 years since Caylee Anthony’s body was found in an area near her mother’s home in Orlando, Florida. After being suspected of her murder, her mother, Casey Anthony, was acquitted in 2011.
Rob Dick, Casey Anthony’s former bodyguard, joined “Banfield” exclusively with details about Casey’s behavior during the eight days she spent out on bail after Caylee disappeared.
“She was lying her whole life. And she kind of lived in this fantasy world where I don’t believe she’s that great of a liar. I just believe that she’s lied for so long, she had a grab bag of lies to pull out whenever. And that’s what was so confusing,” Dick said.
Even 15 years later, no one has been found guilty in Caylee’s death, but Dick says that “pretty much everybody knows who was responsible.”
“Unfortunately, there’s really no closure,” Dick said. “Even with a double jeopardy, she could have came out and told her real story, but everything she says you can’t believe, so it’s hard to figure out the truth.”
