(NewsNation) — Instagram’s new “AI Studio” function is letting select creators make chatbot versions of themselves as part of “early tests” by Meta, The Verge reported.

Zuckerberg said users might start seeing AI content from their favorite creators as well as “interest-based AIs” in the coming weeks.

The Meta founder shared a few example videos during a broadcast on his channel, showing what an AI-generated conversation between users and creators might look like.

Think you’ve seen them? Meta said “AI” will appear in front of the creator’s name followed by a “beta” tag, clearly denoting what’s real and what’s not.

“We’ve been working closely with creators to build these so they’re helpful in answering the questions they get from their followers and can chat with people in a way that’s useful and fun,” Zuckerberg said. “It’s early days and the first beta version of these AIs so we’ll keep working on improving them, and make them available to more people soon.”
