CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (NewsNation Now) — SpaceX launched its 12th Starlink mission Thursday at 8:46 a.m. which will launch 60 Starlink satellites to orbit.

Falcon 9 lifted off from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Following stage separation, SpaceX landed Falcon 9’s first stage on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

The Starlink satellites deployed approximately 14 minutes after liftoff.

Starlink hopes to deliver high-speed broadband internet across the globe unbound by ground infrastructure limitations. The goal of an “internet satellite constellation system” will make internet accessible in locations where service has been unreliable, expensive or completely unavailable.
