A witness, who is a manager with the parking company, told officers that the man –identified as 67-year-old Larrie Carroll — was in the parking lot, holding fake tickets in his hand and directing cars where to park.
The manager said the parking lot has several no trespassing signs, and Carroll tried to make him pay to park as well, per an arrest report.
Police reported Carroll hid his clothes in a tree in an attempt to change his appearance and avoid arrest.
Court documents show Carroll has been arrested more than 300 times for theft and trespassing charges.
He was taken into custody for the latest incident just before 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 15. However, he was released a few hours later at 4:03 p.m., according to booking records.
