Porch pirate snatches child’s vital medical supplies: Police

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department in Texas is asking for help identifying a person suspected of stealing two packages containing a child’s vital medical supplies.

APD said the suspect took two packages from the front porch of a house in the 2500 block of Zach Scott Street around 1:15 p.m. Saturday, June 15.

The suspect was a passenger in an unidentified SUV, which could have been a Kia Sportage, at the time of the thefts, according to APD.

The suspect was described by APD as a young male or female with short hair, last seen wearing a yellow Chicago Bulls hat, white shirt, black basketball shorts, and pink bracelets on the left wrist. They also have a scripture tattoo on the inner left wrist and a forearm and elbow ditch tattoo on the right arm.

Anyone with any information may submit a tip anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or by calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest.
