(NewsNation) — Barilla is stocking up grocery stores again with its limited edition heart-shaped pasta “Barilla Love” and offering fans a chance to win pasta-inspired rings.
“The response to Barilla Love last year was so overwhelmingly positive, we had to go bigger and bolder for its second year,” said Jennifer Ping, vice president of marketing at Barilla US.
To mark the return of “Barilla Love,” the company is hosting a sweepstakes where participants can enter for a chance to win the “Ring-a-toni” — a pair of custom-designed rings valued at nearly $33,000.
The “Ring-a-toni” consists of two interlocking rings. One is hand-painted in Barilla blue enamel, forming a heart shape when stacked together, mirroring the pasta shape. The other ring features a 14-carat gold 0.25-carat ruby band, with a lab-grown 3.51-carat white diamond bezel heart set in a center heart-shaped setting.
“Like jewelry, pasta is an art form that takes love and time to create,” said Alison Chemla, founder and creative director of jewelry brand Alison Lou, which designed the rings.
Fans can purchase Barilla Love pasta for a limited time at select grocery stores nationwide and Nordstrom Restaurant Group while supplies last.
The “Pasta Promise Giveaway” is open from Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. ET through Feb. 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Participants can enter or find a retailer near them at BarillaLove.com.
