Dolly Parton launches new food and baking kit line

Dolly Parton has entered an exclusive agreement with Conagra Brands, one of North America’s leading branded food companies, to develop a line of retail food items. This includes more baking Dolly Parton mixes in the Duncan Hines’ line as well as a new line of Dolly Parton food products in the frozen, refrigerated, grocery and snack category inspired by down-home comfort cuisine.

(NewsNation) — Music icon Dolly Parton is expanding on her partnership with Duncan Hines for a new line of Dolly Parton food products.

“We’re looking to continue to inspire special moments in the kitchen, with some of my family’s favorite recipes, and I think people are really going to love them!” the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee said in a statement Tuesday.

The new products, including an expanded range of Duncan Hines cake and muffin mixes and frostings, will start rolling out to stores this month. The first single branded Dolly Parton item, Buttermilk Pancake Mix, will hit shelves this winter.

The expanded range of Dolly Parton-inspired foods from Conagra will include frozen, refrigerated, grocery and snack items “inspired by down-home comfort cuisine.”

The limited-edition, exclusive Dolly Parton’s Bake Like a Rockstar Baking Collection.

To launch the new partnership, a new Dolly Parton Bake Like a Rockstar Baking Collection kit will be available online while supplies last, featuring some of the new items along with limited-edition keepsakes.

The kit includes Dolly Parton’s Blueberry Muffin Mix, Cinnamon Swirl Crumb Cake Mix, Favorite Chocolate Cake Mix and Creamy Chocolate Buttercream Frosting, along with a Dolly magnet, a Dolly-inspired oven mitt and recipe cards with some of her favorite recipes.

The Bake Like a Rockstar Baking Collection can be purchased online for $40 plus shipping, with early access opening at 11 a.m. ET on Wednesday. General sales will open at 3 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
