(NewsNation) — Video of what is reportedly Justin Timberlake’s vehicle shows the silver SUV driving down a Sag Harbor, New York, street the night of his drunken driving arrest.
Police arrested Timberlake on suspicion of driving while intoxicated Monday night in Sag Harbor, New York, NewsNation confirmed. He was in the area following a stop on his “Forget Tomorrow” tour in Miami last week.
Officers detained Timberlake overnight and he was released without posting cash bail Tuesday. His next court date is scheduled for July 26.
The arresting officer stopped Timberlake’s vehicle after the singer allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and struggled to stay in his lane, police said in a news release.
Court documents allege the pop star told officers he had one martini and was following his friends home.
The arresting officer reported Timberlake had bloodshot eyes, smelled of alcohol and failed roadside sobriety tests.
