(NewsNation) — The bombshell documentary “Stormy: Being Outspoken is not a Crime,” which covers porn star Stormy Daniels and her life after revealing she allegedly had sex with former President Donald Trump and the subsequent cover-up, has hit the streamer Peacock.

The documentary looks at Daniels’ life from her childhood in Louisiana to her start in porn, and eventually her alleged affair and the fallout with Trump. In the doc, she claims her address was leaked online several times and as a result, one of her horses was shot with rubber bullets, her and her daughter, Caden Crain’s lives were threatened, and she thought she would be assassinated.

But unlike Wendy Williams or other subjects of documentaries, Daniels received no financial compensation for her participation in the movie.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, “was not paid a penny for the documentary,” a source close to the doc told me. However, others were, including her ex-husband and fellow porn star Brendon Miller.

“The people who provided home movies and other assets were compensated,” the source added.

It is also possible that Daniels set up a trust for her 13-year-old daughter, Caden Crain, who may have been compensated.

Alex Cutler, a rep for Imagine Documentaries, which produced the movie, didn’t return emails or calls.

The reason Daniels wasn’t paid? Any money she received would reportedly go to Trump.

Daniels alleges she had an affair with Trump in 2006 and was paid $130,000 as part of a nondisclosure agreement days before the 2016 presidential election. She sued him for defamation, but the case was thrown out in 2018, and Daniels was ordered to pay $300,000 in Trump’s attorney fees. Last year, an appeals court ruled she had to pay an additional $122,000, but the total amount Daniels owes Trump is now closer to $600,000.

Daniels, who has vowed to testify against Trump when his hush-money case goes to trial, has previously stated, “I will go to jail before I pay a penny.”
