CHICAGO — Chicago police say a 12-year-old boy who went missing from his Albany Park home on Sunday has been safely located.

Officers did not provide details on what led to the child’s disappearance or where he was located.

According to Chicago police, 12-year-old Andre Robinson left his home in the 4900 block of North Whipple Street, in Albany Park, on Sunday.

Officers say at the time of his disappearance, Robinson was seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and black Adidas shoes.

Police say the missing child, who stands 5-foot-3 and weighs around 106 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities notified the public about Robinson’s disappearance in a news release sent out on Sunday afternoon.
