NEW ORLEANS (NewsNation) — The New Orleans Police Department is asking the public for help locating a family of four who went missing during a move from Louisiana to Texas.

NOPD said 27-year-old Steys Yanira David-Funez; her husband 30-year-old Ramon Ruiz Crisanto; their two daughters 4-year-old Jazzlyn Esther Ruiz David and 1-year-old Dara Ismeray Ruiz David were driven to a bus station in New Orleans on Nov. 30, 2023, by a relative.

The relative said the family was moving to Houston. He told police he received a message later that day stating the family arrived at their destination, police said.
