(NewsNation) — Authorities in Wisconsin have seized a “vehicle of interest” as police continue their search for missing 3-year-old Elijah Vue.

Two Rivers Police Chief Ben Meinnert wrote in a Facebook post the vehicle is a 1997 four-door beige Nissan Altima. He didn’t disclose why police zeroed in on it in the investigation.

Meinnert said the department expanded its rural search efforts Tuesday with large-scale coordinated operations with help from law enforcement from across the state.

Police are asking community members to review their personal surveillance camera footage captured Feb. 19 from 2-9 p.m. for any signs of the vehicle.

“Due to the duration of the hours requested to be reviewed, we are asking the public beyond the greater Two Rivers area and adjacent counties to review their videos as well,” Meinnert wrote.

According to a criminal complaint obtained by NewsNation affiliate WFRV, around 11 a.m. Feb. 20, Jesse Vang, 39, of Two Rivers, called 911 reporting Elijah missing. He was babysitting the boy, according to the complaint.

Authorities spoke with Elijah’s mother, Katrina Baur, 31, of Wisconsin Dells, who reportedly said Elijah had been in the care of Vang for about a week. She also reportedly said Vang is the “enforcer of rules” in the relationship, which is why she sent Elijah to stay with him.

Vang is dating Baur, and both are currently behind bars facing child neglect charges.

The “vehicle of interest” does not belong to Vang or Baur, police said.

If you have footage of the vehicle, you can upload it here. Anyone who experiences technical difficulties or does not have access to upload their video should call the tip line at 1-844-267-6648.

Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information in the case. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 920-683-4466.
