CLEVELAND (NewsNation Now) — The debate between President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden looked a lot different from the start: no handshake and a nearly audience-free auditorium.

The United States has nearly 7.2 million COVID-19 cases and more than 205,000 deaths according to Tuesday night data from Johns Hopkins University.

The pandemic, the president’s handling of it and how each administration would move forward were key topics of Tuesday’s debate.
