(NewsNation) — A jury found former President Donald Trump guilty of felony charges for falsifying business records in an effort to keep information from voters ahead of the 2016 election Thursday after more than four weeks of testimony.

Trump, the presumptive Republican candidate for president, was convicted on all 34 felony charges.

With the guilty verdict, he became the first former president to become a felon.

Sentencing is still to come, where Trump could face fines, probation or prison time. The verdict does not disqualify him from continuing to run for the presidency.

He was convicted of falsifying business records during the 2016 presidential election to hide $310,000 in payments that were tied to a porn star’s allegations that she had a sexual relationship with Trump.
